Procurement engineer of unique and quirky whatchamacallits and thingamajigs

The Junkyard started with a nudge from Ms Junkman to do some spring cleaning of my work shop. She suggested trying to sell some things on ETSY and the rest is history.

Now the Junkyard is stuffed with odd, quirky and unique things. But, you can also find supplies for crafting projects. Need wooden candlesticks, circles, knobs and cutout shapes? We have those too. I really enjoy helping folks with their projects.

I spent the first 30 years of my adult life sailing the 7 seas on research ships. Guess that's why I like all things nautical. It was quite an experience and I saw some of great wonders of this world and met some really interesting people from different cultures. Very enlightening experience for a small town West Texas guy.

The last few years I've enjoyed my woodworking hobby. But, really don't have time for that now because I'm too busy trying to find neat things for the Junkyard. It's a lot of fun and I've become an amature expert on odd and unique things. Speaking of experts, Drew Pritchard is my hero. Maybe someday I'll know as much about stuff as he does.

Old and rusty stuff is what we like here at the junkyard. In rust we trust. But, brass and boxes are also on our list of good stuff.

The greatest thing about the Junkyard is the customers. We've never had a problem with anyone of them. If ETSY had a contest to see which shop had the best customers the Junkyard would win. Wouldn't even be close.

Folks say money can't buy you happiness, but I say it can buy junk, and when you think about it, that's kinda the same thing. The junkyard sells happiness
